THE EMOTION OF THE BONDS

Many times, I ask myself why I insist on doing photography. After a professional career in several areas of the photography trade and before as an amateur (the one who loves the subject he does), I find myself self-satisfaction and thankful for this thing called wedding photography.
I always find the same answer: people. Whenever I try to think about this or pick up a photographic camera, I always focus on people. I could have chosen a different kind of photography, maybe more accepted by knowledgeable people, but wedding photography fulfills the concept: of photographing people doing things that people do.

But, sometimes, we do not choose what we do, things we do choose us. By chance, we are picked by something that will define us for the rest of our lives. It happened to me. By chance, I took some photos at a wedding and found everything I like in photography: people, people, and people. People with bonds. Family, friendship, love, and bonds for the future. Well, with some flowers, decorated tables, and pointing signs.
My name is Fernando Colaço and that is the reason why I am a wedding photographer. That is why I commit myself to do my best at every single moment on the wedding day. Unconditionally.
