How the guests ignore the wedding photographer in Lisbon and offer him the photos he wants

Special characters

The wedding is an event that has a formal side and where the characters, on that day, assume postures that they normally do not use in the days before and will not use in the days after. It is up to the wedding photographer, in his obligation to cover the day, to know how to accentuate this unique side that makes this event so special.

We can start with the clothes that transform everyone, not only the groom and the bride, on that day into special characters who know that they are fulfilling a very important role and that they will fulfill it without hesitation and with wisdom.

Don’t think that a wedding guest is only there to fill space, to act as a backdrop for the wedding photographer, and, later, to be incorporated into photographs that tell the story of a wedding day.

With all the affection

Nothing could be more wrong. They would play the same role as witnesses who guarantee that the vows made by a bride and groom are true and that this deserves to be celebrated with all the affection they have for them, which they demonstrate with the kisses and hugs that the wedding photographer…oops, there’s not supposed to be one there to demonstrate that it’s not because of him that the guests behave like…guests.

It’s a force of habit and he thinks he always has to be there, at weddings. It’s true that if he’s not there, he can’t know how they, the wedding guests, behave, can he? Yes, but he knows.

He knows because the main thing that wedding guests do is not give a damn about the photographer at the wedding. He, there, serves no purpose. Which he appreciates and, in a way, gives back.

Mr. Photographer, can you take our picture?

With the idea he has of being invisible and if someone notices him when he steals a photograph that was just in time and, because he was seen, the photograph is gone, he still says, as if he were a small child who hides behind a vase of flowers, I’m not here…oh!..that’s right, answer those guests after having let the photograph run away.

That’s why he knows that, except in one case or another, when they touch his shoulder, Mr. Photographer, can take our picture.

Now, they don’t know that that’s the very reason why he, the wedding photographer, swears blind that they’re there because of him. Because that is how he wants them, doing what he thinks should be done for the photographs that he knows they will give him, without him asking for too many of them.

As for the quality, it’s up to the reader to take a look around, because I don’t like to talk about my own field. But…
