Lisbon who loves photographs

Some posts behind, I wrote about the wedding ceremony of Paulina and Kuba, coming from Poland, and I promised them a walk in the old Lisbon, after the heat of the day, that loves so much to offer herself to be part of photographic sessions.

We meet together at Praça do Comércio, a central place to know the old town, whether we want to go to the side where the river Tagus comes from or, on the contrary, where it, finally, surrenders to the ocean. The afternoon was on the sunny side, so pleasing to those who visit it, offering us reflections of the light in the walls with that texture so much used by painters, filmmakers, and, of course, wedding photographers.

Soft light offering millions of halftones

But, as you may have noticed, this wedding photographer likes that soft and smooth light that the city knows how to create in the streets, between buildings, with tons of halftones, capable of gray gradations that never end and shape in a way he so much like, not only the couple with him as all the scenery the wrap them.

Because of that, we walked in the arteries and veins of this city that never lets me down and, at the same time, to show the couple from the other end of the world that, indeed, they decided well, when coming to get married in Lisbon.

The wish of the photographer’s lens

One of the problems, when we want to show, someone abroad, the city we love, is to leave a lot of things out.

That is why I chose always a walk as if Lisbon was a field full of small paths that instead of plants, trees, or rocks (my side of the country born does not resit this analogy), the wedding photographer has the streets, courtyards, and viewpoints that, in addition to enchanting the newlyweds, match like a glove, like those you can buy in some of this streets, with the wish of my lenses.
