FANTASIES by the PORTUGAL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

On a road surrounded by trees of Peninha in Sintra, the couple in front of a large pool of water, with its reflection, from a composition of the wedding photographer in Lisbon, Portugal.

I remember so well the photos with Isabel and Renato. As any regular wedding photographer, when he has the opportunity to try new gear, it is a feast to celebrate. The pre-wedding session was scheduled in the pic of the Serra de Sintra and we could not find a better place to test my new lens, I may say, the weather and the wind knew about my excitement and behaved well since, in that place, the environment for the best photos you can imagine.

The sun and the mists like to ride winds wishing to get quickly to other places and they like to have fun at the expense of the photographers having, there, the imagination inside a photographic camera, with the lens he found the right ones to bring the mood of the place and, who knows, trying the new lens.

Peninha, at the top of the Serra de Sintra, is a place that inspires stories from old times and, even, futures, and transports our imagination in a way that is not too easy to find in other places, also used to be friendly for collecting light to transform it into photographs.

I must say, at least after the experiences I had there, that does not always receive the best treatment from the gods that live there and control the humor of the mist and the winds. They entertain themselves, having fun at the expense of those who go there with such good intentions. Let me tell you that the wedding photographers are among the people with the best intentions I know and I am, always, very disappointed when I go there and I can not subject my very dear couple to that windy wet amusement.

What makes me mad is that it is always incredibly good to photograph. It is true that those gods have fantastic aesthetic taste, but they are not good for couples that do not like the cold and the fog full of wind.

Of course, as it is usually with me, the wedding photographer is exaggerating, despite having turned back some times and feeling, myself, that wind having fun and the swift fog laughing heartlessly seeing me protect my cameras and lens in the bag and go back to find another place, with lights and shadows more friendly and letting me to delivery to my couple, almost married, the adventure of the day.

But, when the wedding photographer finds one of these days where those gods decide in his favor, he takes advantage and he knows how to use his dear lens and cameras to get the best and, in the end, offers the couple a memory that they will remember, every time they wish to see the photos done, as I did today.

Because of all of that, Peninha will be always a choice for the wedding photographer and return whatever the state of mind of its eternal inhabitants, whom I already talked about.

They are not always annoying.
