IN FLOCKS THROUGHOUT THERE by THE SINTRA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Photos of wedding guests distributed by Quinta da Serra in Sintra
The swallows and the flocks of wedding guests
Like swallows on a spring day. It is how the wedding photographer sees the wedding guests wandering around the space where the party is happening.
When the venue can do that, like Quinta da Serra in Sintra, the guests like to sprawl out along the wide avenue flanked by giant old and leafy trees with jagged shadows, drawing tongs of light in the ground, but offering that shadow desired in summer day if heated by an uncovered sun.
That is why I find small groups of people everywhere wandering around telling the news, knowing what you have done all these years without seeing you. Nice. I wish you the best in your new project.
Photographing conversations without hearing them
Well, the wedding photographer does not spend his time listening to what the people say at the wedding, and, what he described above, is just a fruit of his imagination while focusing on collecting moments, combinations of groups gathered where he saw the photo happening or when he waits in the corner until one passes through his eyes so that can be fished by his lens, chosen for that purpose.
Of course, I may not fail in the conversations, because it is what people talk about in those gatherings and, most of the time, without seeing each other for long as it happens at weddings or, even, those that notice for the first time the other’s existence. The wedding can provide all this and it is a wellspring for the gluttonous photographer for photos ready to take with him.
The bird photographer at a wedding
So, because I am not one of those photographers who run between hills and valleys until they find their beloved birds to catch with their lens, I find them in the form of people wandering between the flowers and under the trees and give me all I need for what I am doing there. Photographing.
That is why I only wish that they never stop being interested in each other, that they have all the pleasure of meeting for the first time or they catch up on their conversations.
I know they do, but I am not interested in what they say as long they offer me what I want and transform me into a happy bird photographer, sorry, wedding photographer.
