The wedding photographer in Cascais and the photos that only happen in that bride’s moment

THE INCOGNITO for THE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Inside the car to go to the ceremony, the bride thoughtfully in a moment captured by the wedding photographer in Cascais.

As a wedding photographer, I have my tasks for the day more or less established. The day starts early at the home of one of the members of the couple, which will be a little later in a ceremony to which everything converges.

What the groom and the bride do from early in the morning with their beautification as if they were flowers and who takes care of their hair, and their skin and dresses them in springtime to make them bloom, so that they come out radiant and powerful in their journey towards a future for two that begins with that yes, I accept, in a ceremony further ahead.

As I’ve been around for a while I know that there are photos that take place in certain places that can deliver to me, and to them afterward, a state of their soul by the expectation, by the importance of the moment, or by the desire to want to go quickly.

One of those moments is when the bride gets into the car to go to the ceremony and the other is when she arrives and is just about to leave and starts walking down the aisle surrounded by her guests with her desired one in the background, who is waiting impatiently.

They are, in fact, two moments that always happen and that the wedding photographer tries to get because it is a very fleeting, fragile, and delicate moment and it only takes, sometimes, a hesitation, a slight delay in the search for composition and time will no longer be right to take it, at the moment, as one more photograph of the wedding. But when I get its glory, it’s an internal celebration that only the wedding photographer notices and that only his photographs will show it happened.

I will call it because I can’t find another name for it, at the inner moment. It’s fast and intense. Suddenly I see, and I photograph whenever I go in time, the bride as if everything has disappeared and she stands only before herself as, perhaps, I can only speculate if her whole future depends on that moment to which she is heading. It is at the same time a certainty.

After all, she is there because she wants it, because she wants it so much, that she even takes a wedding photographer with her to confirm it, and an unknown, as is always the future towards which we are constantly moving, even if it is on the path we have chosen. Of course, this is just a speculation of the wedding photographer when he is in his task as the scribe of another kind of chronicle that uses photos instead of words, which he prefers.

But I know one thing, I always wish the brides I accompany in those moments would offer me one because I know they always turn into intense photographs.

At least the way I see them.
