Photography as a passion

In our house, we call the wedding Margarida and Diogo, Mr. Mário´s wedding. Mr. Mário is the father of Margarida and he gave me great pleasure to be chosen to photograph the wedding of his daughter. But Mr. Mário takes photography as a passion. He breathes, practice, and talk about it in forums.

On the one side, it was a great pleasure to be chosen by someone who knows about photography but,  from another point of view, I was in a panic because every gesture of mine, every point of view, each time I put my camera in my face, all that, will be in detail scrutinized by Mr. Mário.

A fabulous wedding day

But confident about my autonomy, knowledge of the trade as a wedding photographer, and my will to do well I was there at the time. It is true that even if Mr. Mário did not care about me and what I was doing I felt his presence. Margarida and Diogo did well,  for the photos and party with his beloved guests all day and, my dear Mr. Mário, at the end of the night, rested in peace because granted his daughter a fabulous wedding day at Hotel Grande Real Villa Itália in Cascais.

By this wedding photographer’s side, and after receiving the final work, he approved. The trust and the result. But it was not only him. I want, always, to be like that.
