THE FATHER OF THE BRIDE

In our house we call the wedding of Margarida and Diogo, mr. Mário´s wedding. Mr. Mário is the father of Margarida and he gave me the great pleasure to be chosen to photograph the wedding of his daughter. But mr. Mário take photography as a passion. He breathe, practice, talk about it in foruns. By one side it is was great pleasure to be chosen by someone who knows about photography but,  from other point of view, I was in panic because every gesture of mine, every point of view, each time I put my camera in my face, all that, will be in detail scrutinized by mr. Mário.

But confident about my autonomy, knowledge of the trade as wedding photographer and my will to do well I was there at time. It is true that even if mr. Mário does not care about me and what I was doing I felt is presence. Margarida and Diogo did well,  for the photos and party with is beloved guests all day and, my dear mr. Mário, at the end of the night, rested in peace because granted to is daughter a fabulous wedding day at Hotel Grande Real Villa Itália in Cascais. By this wedding photographer side, and after receiving the final work, he approved. The trust and the result. But it was not only him. I want, always, to be like that.
