TO GO AND BACK by THE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER IN ALGARVE

Both the ceremony and the wedding party took place in a small villa near Monchique, in the Algarve

Leaving Parede, where I live, in the direction of Monchique in the Algarve to photograph a wedding always gives me a sense of adventure that stimulates me more than you might think.

Firstly, I travel through my Alentejo as if I were sailing through gently undulating waters, between curves that can be seen from afar and down hills that lead me, almost without realizing it, to the place where wedding photos are waiting for me, eager to get into the cameras, transformed by thirsty lenses that never let me rest for a moment.

Secondly, I photograph in a mode of pleasure and duty. The duty of transforming the desires, emotions, feelings, and gatherings of people in love into photographs. The pleasure of feeling that what I do, as a wedding photographer, will remain the most vivid memory when the memory of each person there that day, with Miriam and Ronan, fades away.

That’s why I always return happily, once again through my Alentejo, to restful sleep after the adventure is over.
