Enchanted Eyes on Enchantment day, in a wedding

A WEDDING CEREMONY, CHAPTER 12, by THE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER IN LISBON

Sitting on a bench at St. George's Castle in Lisbon, the bride and groom chat laughing with satisfaction at their session with their wedding photographer in Portugal.

The enchanted, a groom and a bride

At the session with the wedding photographer in Portugal, the bride caresses the cheek of the groom as they sit next to each other at St. George's Castle in Lisbon.

The enchanted ones. That’s how they, the groom and the bride, get as soon as a state official, or a priest, has told them that from then on they will be husband and wife, which would certainly not be necessary.

When I manage to free them from the embracing arms of those who want them for themselves, such is the love that they have for them, I take them, alone, to show them that their eyes are only for their eyes and the wedding photographer makes sure that this is also the case in the photographs that come from those eyes and he, as if they were also enchanted photographs, keeps them in a sort of magic safe to reveal them to the light at another time.

A place of enchantment and wedding photos

The bride, with bouquet in hand, laughs at the groom in front of her, from her back and out of focus, as they sit on a stone bench at St. George's Castle in Lisbon during the session with the wedding photographer in Portugal.

Photographing the couple on their wedding day is an obligation. Not because they are obliged by some contract but because their eyes will never again have that glow like on that day.

It was a place of enchantment. We all know that St. George’s Castle in Lisbon was, for centuries, the home of princes and princesses and that many people must have married there too. In part of those centuries, it is known and proven that enchanted Moorish princesses lived there. Princes we do not know or were not given to such things. So the wedding photographer left with Rita and Dylan certain the same thing was happening to them.

Enchanted eyes for the wedding photographer’s photos

Facing the bride, the groom talks to her during the session with the wedding photographer at S. Jorge castle in Lisbon.

It’s probably not just because of the location; he often sees this in the bride and groom he photographs at other weddings. Perhaps, he thinks, here it manifests itself more intensely in the photographs and finally proves that the enchantment for love is true and that it is justified, whenever there is a wedding, that a photographer, of a wedding because it doesn’t work with others, is always present and knows how to recognize the signs.

How does he, the wedding photographer, know this? Just look carefully at the photographs that are of the wedding and that have been freed from those looks that look into the eyes and even if they are not doing it, the enchantment is still there. How do I prove it?

Photos with the bride and groom that prove the enchantment

With the ancient trees in the garden of St. George's Castle in Lisbon, the bride and groom together face to face in a conversation while on session with the wedding photographer in Portugal.

On one hand, they almost can’t stop looking at each other’s eyes, and then those looks make them smile so much that, when they are enchanted, they make them close, make a lot of wrinkles at the corners or, when the enchantment is too strong, they have to look away in order not to get into a deeper state, which is not good when it’s too much.

Then the wedding photographer is not just giving an opinion, opinions are not much use except to pass the time. He has photos that take care not to make him look like a fantasist with a theory that no one cares about. Look carefully and tell me if I’m not right. Is there enchantment or is there no enchantment? Always, of course.

Dot by dot:

  • The wedding photographer finds enchantment in the eyes of the bride and groom, for each other, as soon as the photo session with them begins.
  • Photographs of the bride and groom on their wedding day are a must. Not because there’s a contract, but because their enchanted eyes will never shine again like today.
  • The proof is in all the photos I take of them. And then there are those wedding photographer theories, but you’ll have to read down here.

You need to know:

  • I’ll also be able to bring you an enchanted look in your eyes on your wedding day. All you have to do is to contact me. No doubt about it.
