Travelling the road towards Pegões and arriving at the Quinta is, in itself, a delight for the eyes. The Alentejo begins there and stretches out along the road, under the shade of round holm oaks, like giant parasols that both protect and inspire.
Quinta das Riscas appears out of nowhere, surrounded by vineyards still green, but already with copper tones, immediately prompting the photographer to think: I must come back here with the couple at sunset. And so I did. The copper-orange light was delivered. I did what I had to do: I made the most of it.
