A Summer Wedding in the Alentejo

As you would expect from a July wedding in the Alentejo, Santiago do Cacém welcomed everyone with plenty of sunshine and soaring temperatures.

Isabel and Francisco looked radiant and barely seemed to notice the heat. Their only concern was enjoying every moment of their wedding day, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.

And that’s exactly how the day unfolded. Their ceremony at the beautiful Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Graça was filled with emotion, while the celebrations at Quinta da Cilha carried on well into the night.

Getting Ready and the Ceremony at the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Graça

Dating back to the 18th century, this small Baroque chapel is known for its beautiful tiled interior and the long-standing devotion to Our Lady that has made it a place of pilgrimage for generations.
