The bilingual wedding ceremony

The bride and father, looking happy, walk towards the wedding ceremony.

Nestled on the slopes of the Sintra Mountains, surrounded by woodland that gives it a truly special atmosphere, the Casa do Bosque was the venue chosen by Mariza and Mathaus for their wedding celebration.
In that bucolic setting with views over the Palácio da Pena and the Castelo dos Mouros on the opposite hillside, the bilingual ceremony unfolded between formal moments and good humour, perhaps inspired by the fresh, renewing air of the surrounding forest.

The wedding night celebration

With a short trip into the village of Sintra, we could enjoy the scenery and that marvellous light so appreciated by any photographer, and especially by me when photographing a wedding.
Later, the photojournalistic side found fulfilment with all sorts of games that filled the night of this party. It was a great pleasure to be there with such a festive and welcoming group. I thank Mariza and Mathaus for the opportunity.
